Tatiana Casado de Staritzky, Ph.D.
After six years’ experience in primary care social services in Mallorca (Spain), she started her PhD in 2016 (collaborative practices in social work with families in special distress), combining it with teaching at the Degree in Social Work (UIB). Tatiana has been a permanent lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and Social Work (UIB) since 2023. She is currently vice dean in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, coordinating the studies of Social Work. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Association of Spanish Universities in Social Work (AUETS). Her research interests include collaborative practices with families and larger systems, aging in LGTBI people, and PCOMS. Tatiana attended PCOMS Training of Trainers in 2019 and has collaborated in the translation of the PCOMS manual into Spanish. At the moment, she is developing the validation of the new Spanish translations of the ORS and the SRS, and she plans to continue spreading PCOMS across Spanish-speaking countries.
